At CT Nonprofits, we bring together nonprofits and experts in all of the skill areas it takes to lead your organization in the 21st century. You’ll learn best practices for capacity building and professional development that you can use right away. With more than 130 workshops and seminars each year, there are always valuable training sessions planned for staff of all levels.
Take part in one of the wide range of workshops offered each month by the Center for Professional Development, the training and educational arm of CT Nonprofits. Workshops and seminars available to nonprofits of all sizes include emerging nonprofit trends, leadership, technology, finance, human resources, communications and fundraising.

Build capacity, recruit volunteers and donors, and jumpstart your staff with inspiration as you work toward your mission. Our signature event, the Annual Connecticut Nonprofit Conference, draws nonprofits from all over the state each fall. The conference features seminars and workshops from professionals in nonprofit leadership, development and management.

We offer monthly Management Forums free to members ($25 non-members) so our nonprofit members and others can network and collaborate on resolving issues that they have in common.
Forum groups include: Development, Finance/Operations, Human Resources, Marketing/PR and Technology. Forum topics and details are announced to our members in our monthly eNewsletter.
