Nonprofits rely on fundraising as a means to sustain programs for the people they serve. We’ve added helpful resources on this page that will aid you in bolstering your development program, whether you’re just beginning one or trying to expand your existing approach.
If you have any resources that you’d like to share with the nonprofit community, please email a brief description, and link or PDF to Melissa Harris.

Birdies for Charity
Sponsored by J.H. Cohn LLP and endorsed by CT Nonprofits, Birdies for Charity is a unique opportunity for charitable groups and community organizations in Connecticut to utilize the Travelers Championship to raise funds and awareness for their cause. PGA TOUR professionals are anticipated to make an average of 1,500 - 2,000 birdies, Wednesday – Sunday of the Travelers Championship. In Birdies for Charity, you can turn all those birdies into money for your 501(c)(3)! All participating nonprofits simply solicit pledges based on the number of birdies made. Pledges can be as low as one penny!
